How To Delete The Names For Facebook

While visiting Washington by bike, most people will most likely visit it from a tourist bus. The truth is that there's nothing like getting on the second floor of one of those top buses to tour the city as a tourist. Mineko Whenever we travel to another city and I, the first thing we do is take one of these buses. So I decided to wait until I visit Mineko to our role as real tourists. Mineko

came two weeks after me. The first thing we did to recover from the jetlag was to visit Washington, no bike, but in tandem. My recipe against jetlag: do some exercise in the light of day. It was a beautiful day. We arrived at Georgetown, a suburb of Washington, and back to Bethesda.

The following weekend we did the tourist visit real. The plan was that, taking one of those buses. But that they were two, neither do we stop to check where these buses stop before leaving home. And in Washington (going by subway, not bike), we did not know where to find the bus.

Washington city is not very big, but you can not go on foot from side to side. We left the subway in Chinatown, an area that seemed central. And we saw the bus in the distance. We walked the streets to see if we can stop, but nothing. We decided to walk to the place of the white house there for sure. But this house was quite far, and it took us over an hour to arrive. Along the way we saw the bus, but, as if it were a ghost, was always away and never found any stops blessed. We arrived at the gate of the White House, and nothing, nothing that looks like a bus stop.

Nearby was a tourist office, but was closed on Saturday afternoons ... When more tourists! Of course, this is not Europe.

tourism's book Mineko, a Japanese book that always amazes me as practical details gives, this time does not say where taking the bus, but at least give a phone number I can call. Call the number but all I get is to hear a recording with a very low voice and with an American accent which was not yet accustomed. With traffic noise just get to hear something that buses leave from the U, or something ... U which will be this season? Will the Washington stations are named after the streets? All streets running east to west are called according to the letters of the alphabet, and streets running north to south are called numbers. With so maybe the U is in U Street?

We finally resigned. After this hike, we returned to Bethesda in Washington without bus tour. We'll try on Sunday. We left

Sunday, this time with the full name of the station: the main station called Union Station. It seems that Americans eat more letters than the Andalusians. And so we come to the station, and there was the bus, red and painted American flag, waiting. Finally!

The system is hop-on hop-off, meaning that you can get off at a stop, see something and get on the next bus. But we decided to just stay on the bus, and thank goodness we did, that the journey lasted over two hours ... impossible to do on foot. We saw the Capitol from all angles, as the design of the city is such that all major roads leading to the Capitol. We saw again the white house, and discovered that the stop was a few meters beyond where we look, just around the corner ... Of course.

The day was perfect, neither hot nor cold, and the recording (which had no phone) was clear and interesting and we learned a lot, the Lincoln Memorial columns (one for each of the 48 states of the time) , Jefferson Memorial, which created the U.S. Constitution, the Washington Cathedral, the sixth largest in the world, Arlington Cemetery, a cemetery overlooking Finally, since we are tourists!
